First generation Kindle Fires can no longer download the OverDrive app from the Amazon Appstore.
If you've already downloaded the OverDrive app on your Kindle Fire, you can continue to use it. If you need help using the app, open the app and go to Menu > More Options > Help.

If you haven't downloaded the OverDrive app or you run into issues with the app, you can use the web browser on your Kindle Fire (or another device) to borrow and send Kindle Books (U.S. libraries only) to your first generation Kindle Fire.
